HAHAHA, HAI EVURYBUDY. HOW'S IT GOIN'? LET ME JUST SLIP IN CASUALLY AND PRETEND LIKE I HAVEN'T BEEN ABSENT FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS. 8D

So I would say that my unannounced hiatus here has been caused from being busy with school, which it has, but the blunt truth of it is, is that it's mostly been from a lack of motivation to draw.

My ADD has gotten worse since I've gotten older, and for the past two school semesters I've been going through a sort of medication limbo. Last year the meds I had been taking for the past 4 years stopped working and I decided to see a psychiatrist and get a perscription for a different medication all together, instead of just upping my dosage because the old pills had some annoying side effects anyway. So me and my doctor played the wonderful game of prescription roulette until we settled on a medication I thought was working, but I quickly developed a tolerance to no matter how many times I increased the dosage. Much emoness and failed classes later, we've ended up going back to my old meds but with a higher dosage. It seems to be the only medication for ADD that works for me. It's just going to be a pain having to remember to eat and make sure I go to bed a decent hour(which I'm not off to much of a good start there...3:30 AM haha...).

Just to mention, I have started writing Chapter 5 of RAtE. It's currently around 7 pages typed up on Word. This one might take me a little while because although I already know the grand scheme of what happens in the whole story from start to finish, I've gotten to the point in my story where the timeline of things is a little murky in my head. I know what happens, just not necessarily in what order or what timeframe, or in some cases in what detail(I have the general idea of what goes on, but not specific scenes yet). I've also been taking some time to develop some of the characters I made up for the story that will be key to the plot. Especially Melissa. I've been striving to flesh out her character more to make her more three dimensional and just better written overall. I'm still working out some kinks when it comes to figuring out who I really want her to be and what kind of changes she will go through throughout the story. Equal effort has also been made toward studying Gary. Another to mention is the relationship between Crabblesnitch and Petey, and the roll Petey will play in the story. Needless to say I have some work on my hands.

So that's what's been going on with the story, in case there were concerns. Another thing I guess I'll mention is that I joined the horde and started a Tegaki account. [link] I draw other things besides Bully in there, although I still also do art for it. I like it because here on DA I feel a sort of pressure or obligation to only post art that is relatively finished, but I like to use my Tegaki as a means to just dump quick, sketchy art and not feel concerned about it being unpolished. Thus, my Tegaki might, on occasion, be updated more frequently than my DA gallery. I should be drawing at least every day, and I don't always have time (or patience) to render complete artworks, especially when my main focus has been developing my drawing skills (lineart) in difference to my rendering skill. I'll still post here though, so don't worry.

The last thing I'd like to address, is that I've been noticing a shift in primary interests among some of my watchers/friends on DA, i.e. either less or no longer interested in Bully. This is fine, I have no ill feelings about this. In fact I admit that my interests in certain fandoms have been waving back and forth, and Bully is no longer an exclusive interest, though still strong in my heart.

The point in bringing this up is that I wanted to inquire about how many of you are still interested in Bully? I just want to get an idea of my audience for that fandom. I honestly would probably be less inclined to draw fanart of Bully if most everyone has moved onto other things. That's not meant to be punishment or anything, it's just I tend to be less interested in things when I don't have people to talk about it with, and honestly I wouldn't feel very motivated to draw fanart about something no one would care about. I would just end up drawing art about whatever other fandom I found other people had in common with me. People who stimulate my interest in a given fandom is usually what gets me to start drawing it.

So yeah, I'd just like to know if I still have watchers invested in my Bully art or if most of you have moved onto other things. You can tell me what other fandoms you've been into lately, on the off chance we share it in common, or maybe even get me to look into it if I haven't heard of it before.

Besides Bully, the other fandoms I've been really into are(in no particular order):

The Venture Bros. (cartoon)
Frisky Dingo (cartoon)
Ironman (movie)
Star Trek (everything XD, but I've seen the new movie twice and I love it)
Terminator (movie, the whole series, but the new movie is also very yummy)
Half Life (video game, the whole series)
GTA IV (video game)
Silent Hill (video game, the whole series, but especially 5; mention the movie, however, and you die)
Dead Space (video game, though I haven't finished it yet, so no spoilers please)
God of War (video game, the whole series)
Guild Wars (MMORPG video game)

And, um, not that it's really a fandom or anything, but I always enjoy a good bashing of Twilight. XD Whether it's through writing or a parodying artwork. I just love to hate it. XD So yeah, that's what's been going on with me. I'd love to hear what other fandoms you guys have been up to.
